油气化验班目前负责巴彦淖尔市地区88座变电站油质样品试验，可开展微水、酸值、耐压、水溶性酸、凝点、介损、闪点、体积电阻率、界面张力、油中溶解气体检测等十余项实验项目
绝缘油击穿电压测定
击穿电压作为衡量绝缘油电气性能的一个重要指标，可以判断油中是否存在有水分、杂质和导电颗粒，是检验变压器油性能好坏的主要手段之一。
绝缘油介质损耗因数测定
绝缘油的介质损耗因数对判断新油的精制、净化程度、运行中油的老化程度，以及变压器绝缘性能的好坏，都有重要意义，它是作为监测绝缘油的重要电气性能指标之一。
油中微量水分测试仪
绝缘油中微量水分的存在，对绝缘介质的电气性能与理化性能都有极大危害，水分可导致绝缘油的击穿电压降低，介质损耗因数增大，水分是油氧化作用的主要催化剂，促进绝缘油老化，使绝缘性能劣化、受潮，损害设备，导致电力设备的运行可靠性和寿命降低。
